Are you, or will you soon be, involved in Boy Scout troop outdoor activities as a Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster or other leader?  Do you want to help boys with their outdoor advancement requirements?  Do you need to learn or brush up on some of the camping and outdoor skills of Tenderfoot through 1st Class so you can better help Scouts advance?  Would you like to learn some new ways of teaching in the outdoors?  Do you want to have a fun weekend camping overnight with a group of adult leaders also interested in practicing the outdoor skills of Scouting.

Come to Camp Illinek on May 1-3, 2020 for outdoor leader skills training.

· We will cover most of the outdoor requirements of Scout through 1st Class.

· Be prepared with tent, sleeping bag, and personal gear for an overnight campout (no backpacking).

· If convenient, bring along some patrol gear for your training patrol to use—stove, cook kit, lantern, water jug, dishwashing equipment, etc.

· The only cost will be for food.

· Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills training is one requirement for a Scoutmaster or Assistant Scoutmaster to be considered fully trained.

· Your instructors will be Scouters with many years of personal outdoor experience as well as experience leading Scouts in the outdoors.
